5/19/08 Simon is GREAT he has adjusted really well. So far he has made a friend with the cat Sheeba and my granddaughter is crazy about him. All went well at the Vet and I expect to continue well. He is doing great with the crate training. He loves his FAMILY BLANKET from you. I think that is so sweet. He is too! I am so grateful. I told my friends if anyone wants a great dog I will run the trip for them! He was and is worth the effort. More to come.
Thank you, Melanie B

5/24/08 Tina, Simon is Great and I love him! He and Sheeba (the cat) are just fine together. He loves her and she does too! He has not met the hamster as of yet. They look alike though! He is doing well with his potty training and seems to like his food ok. He LOVES his toys. I made him a big fur ball with a tail and he drags it around the house with him and then out of the blue he will growl at it ,jump, pump and roll on it. Until he wins! He misses his old crew every so often, he looks behind him when he is eating looking for every one else! He does great with the leash too. I am surprised. No tugging he just hip hops behind me. We walk around our yard and smell the flowers. Every morning at 5 or 5:30 he wakes up (the birds singing) and we go out for poops and piddles...then at 7:30 we go out for the newspaper and then the fun begins for the day. He still naps alot but plays really hard when he is UP! I still think of Ralph, but Simon is filling the hole in my heart! Now I can laugh at the memories instead of crying. Thank you again for having such wonderful puppies! Truly yours, Melanie B

Hi Tina: Well Angel has certainly captured our hearts: hook, line and sinker. She is the smartest, spunkiest, loveliest, friendliest, most loveable puppy we have ever known (and we have never, in our lives, been dogless). Ok, I admit, this is a goofie picture, but it was New Year's Eve, two days after her arrival, and you can see how quickly she made herself quite at home.
Please, please, please let me know when you have another litter by these parents. We are more than interested!!! Wishing you all the very best in the New Year, and looking forwards to staying in touch
All best, Mandy

Sage and Ginger (aka Lilly and Lexie)adopted 12/29/07I've attached a picture here. I now understand how difficult it is to get a picture of them! They did really well in the car and were really excited when we got home. They have done well overnight and like sleeping in their crate together. We went to the vet yesterday and they are healthy. Sage now weighs 4 pounds 12 ounces and Ginger is 4 pounds 9 ounces. We go back in three weeks for their next shots. Sage is most definately the alpha dog and would like to be in charge of me, too. She's learning that I'm in charge! : ) Ginger is a little lap warmer and very sweet and tender. We're having a fun week getting to know each of them. Happy New Year!Dana

Snowball (aka Landon) adopted 1/1/08
Snowball is a great puppy. He loves his new home alot. He plays with Nick and Ashley constantly, or until it is naptime, and then it is time to sleep, gain energy and play some more. He is very good already about going outside to do his duties. He dances in front of the door to let us know when he needs to go out. We are all very happy with him, Thank you very much.

Update 1/7/08 Hi Tina, We are really enjoying Casper and he has been keeping us quite busy. This is our first puppy and we are learning as we go. I am attaching some pictures of the day we brought him home and I will send more recent ones soon. We would be happy to give a referral and feel free to give our contact information. Hope your holidays were enjoyable. Ours have definately been full of joy, a little less sleep, but well worth it. The Knutson family

 Bijou (aka Midge) adopted 12/30/07
Hi Tina, We are now back in Greece and I wanted to drop you an e-mail to thank you for making Bijou's adoption so effortless. She was a real trooper during her 7 hour car trip from Pennsylvania to New York and then her 10 hour plane trip from New York to Greece. She loves it here so much! The weather is mild so she plays in the garden during the day.You really got her personality right. She's so silly and playful - it's the cutest thing and we can't get enough of her. We feel blessed to have her as part of our family. Eleana has taken on the role of mom (I guess that makes me grandma) and has been taking great care of her. I will send more pictures once I finish unpacking. Thanks again! Vanessa7/26/08 Hi Tina,
Just thought I'd send you Bijoux's updated 9 month photos. She's doing well here in Greece. She's so lovable and loves to clown around and she LOVES meeting new people.
Hi Tina!!!! Max is so sweet!! adopted 10/07

Rosey (aka Suzie Q) adopted 10/07

Hello Mary and Tina,
Our new puppy, Rosey (Suzie), is wonderful beyond our expectations. She is doing extremely well with housebreaking – no accidents yet. Rosey loves our German Shepherd and the feeling is mutual. This is our first experience with a Bichon, and we are delighted. Not only is she beautiful, but she is everything they say the breed is supposed to be. Today she was with my 21-month-old granddaughter, and she was gentle and sweet. Her energy is unbelievable, but she is always ready to take a “cuddle” break. You have done such a great job with her.
Thank you so much.
Bob & Anita

5/21/08 Tina, I hope you are enjoying your vacation! Michela is doing wonderfully!! She sleeps all through the night in her crate next to my bed. She has been going to work with me during the day and gets plenty of attention. Potty training is coming along. I'm starting to become more in tune with her potty habits so I can take her outside but I have to admit, there's room for improvement on my part! She saw the vet and they said she's "perfect" and such a beautiful disposition. Very socialized. We took her to the Verizon store and a woman there asked about her so I did give her your website address. You did a terrific job with them Tina. She absolutely loves the children and they are having so much fun with her. We start puppy kindergarten on the 28th...Diane

To All Prospective "Bichon" Families: Finn
It is with pleasure that I am writing this letter as both a professional and personal reference for Mary Sutton, DBA Mary's Mountain Bichons.
You can browse through all the website's available or chat with any number of them, but until you have actually had the chance to meet or speak with Mary (or her daughter, Tina), you probably will not be able to understand just how dedicated and loving this breeder truly is.
As with most new parents, we are in awe and love every minute we spend with our new puppy. Even though Ric and I can boast for hours how adorable and how many new things he learns every day, we will use this opportunity to tell you why Mary's Mountain Bichons is a step above all the other breeders.
Mary, Tina, and Jenn are more like parents than breeders. Each puppy is truly loved and hand nurtured by them. Don't get offended if they ask questions about the prospective living conditions you can provide. They are responsible breeders who are not invading your privacy, but discerning about where their puppies may live. Since it had been years since I had a puppy and this was a totally new experience for my husband, we also had lots of questions. We will never be able to thank them enough for allowing us to adopt one of their "babies" and for making the adoption process such a happy and stress-free time for all.
Any breeder can hand over a puppy and the paperwork to you, but we have had the unique pleasure of keeping in touch with Mary and Tina. They continue to share their advice, quiet our concerns and share their friendship.
We wish you good luck in your search of the perfect puppy.
Best wishes,
Donna Toner A Proud Bichon Parent

Hoss Adopted 2-10-07
"Hi, Mary.. it's me Laurie, Hoss's Gramma. just letting you know that he is doing much better today. Saturday and Sunday he was not feeling too good I don't think. We were a little worried, but with plenty of rest last nite, this morn he woke up feeling good. He follows Angel everywhere and Angel loves it. He licks her face, and she lets him. She loves him to pieces. We got him a girl friend Bichon and he is a little shy, but he is slowly letting her know who is boss.
He loves it outside. He ran out yesterday with the girl his age and they went out again this morning. He is the biggest sweetie pie ever. Hoss sleeps with Angel at night. The first nite he slept by her feet, the 2nd night he slept beside her, the 3rd night, he slept on her head. :) He is the handsomest sweetest dog I have ever known. He is eating good and I will visit your site soon. Good fortune with your new litter. Laurie"

5/20/08 Tina, I’m so sorry I haven’t been in touch until now but honestly we have been so busy enjoying and loving our new baby girl. Gina is a good girl! You would be so proud! She is doing everything she is supposed to be doing. And she has slept each night -all night since we got her!!! We put her in a nice crate next to Scott’s side of the bed with a towel over the sides like you do with Ella. We said, if she cries too much, she’s getting in bed with us! But, to our surprise she went right to sleep and that was it.
I really think that blanket that was rubbed down on Leo and Sophie helped. I put it back in a zip lock every morning and seal it in hopes of sealing in her parents scent. She is simply beautiful! And today is her second day going to work with Scott. I’m surprised he isn’t giving out cigars! He Loves her sooo much too. He has been having so much fun showing her off. We love her. Oh my God, I’m so jealous he gets to get her to himself all day, I can’t wait to get to her when I get off work! We had company for about 2 hours and we all just sat around watching her play. She loved all the attention.
2/17/09: Gina is doing very well. Just as beautiful as ever, and spoiled rotten. We love her so much. Scott takes her to work with him every other day at this time since I got laid off. So he has her Mon., Wed., & Fridays. I have her at home with me Tuesdays and Thursdays.....until I get back to work. And on weekends, we take her just about every where we go. She also loves traveling in the RV. She loves going to Ocean City to visit my mother in law's Bichon. They play so hard running all over the place wrestling and chasing each other, when we come home all she wants to do is pass out for a few days. Take Care Debbie Hall

Hi Tina,
Rocky is doing great! He had us fooled at first. When we arrived at home, all he did was sleep. We thought we had the most docile pet in the world. Two days later, he came alive and from that point on, he has kept us on our toes. One minute he is running around so fast you can hardly see him. The next thing you know, he's out like a light! He is full of energy and spunk. Rocky has been excellent in the crate. From day one, he never so much as whimpered when we put him in at night. By day, Rocky is very inquisitive! Everything goes into his mouth and shoes are his favorite delicacy. Training is going well. He does his business outside MOST of the time. He sits on command, comes when you call, and gives you his paw when you have a treat for him. He even has taken a dip or two in our pool at the shore. Overall, we are all in love with our little boy. Thanks again for such a gem of a dog! George and Carol Rose

Hi Tina!
I am so glad to hear from you! We have had a fantastic time and a most wonderful holiday. We have a ton of pictures to send you so you can update your website. Sadie got to sit on Santa's lap and have her picture taken for Christmas and now that she has completed all of her shots, she has sleepovers with Cuddles (my mother-in-law’s poodle) and we have had out on different play days with our friends puppies too. Sadie is so lovable and so mild mannered with other dogs. It is so funny to go to friends or family’s homes and take Sadie with. She starts to play immediately. It is hilarious how reserved, calm, and quiet she is compared to their other dogs. Even if they are totally obnoxious, Sadie will just do her little chase game and stays totally quiet! The other people just can’t believe how she behaves. You definitely have some of the best mannered breed lines that there ever could be! She hasn't been any trouble... no chewing, although we keep her in plenty of her own chew toys. Anyway, I have to put a picture package together and get them emailed to you. Thank you so much for checking in and thank you for the most perfect puppy my wife or I have ever seen!..... Jim
